The Joey’s Jigs Micro Jig – 1/16oz is where it all began.

Before Joey Ultralight existed, these were the jigs I was tying by hand—one at a time—for my own fishing. That passion for ultralight finesse, small presentations, and doing things the right way is what ultimately grew into Joey Ultralight.

Each jig is personally tied by me, built around a 1/16oz head and size 4 hook, and finished as a micro finesse “puff” jig designed to breathe and move with the slightest current or rod input. The soft, compact profile flares naturally in the water, making it deadly on light line and subtle presentations.

These jigs are incredibly versatile and effective across a wide range of species—from panfish and trout to bass and anything else willing to eat a well-presented micro jig. They shine on ultralight and BFS setups, whether fished under a float, slow-rolled, hopped along the bottom, or dead-sticked in place.
